WHY WOOL?
Dr. Heidi Yellen's bioenergetics study of 2003 reveals that fabrics possess unique frequencies influencing our energy and health.
According to this research, the average human body has a frequency of 110 mHz, however natural wool has an astoundingly high signature of 5000 mHz.
For this reason, Chamonix creates exclusively with high quality and sustainably sourced wool originating from New Zealand to weave her vibrational artworks.
Chamonix works with event planners, individuals as well as designers and consultants to create bespoke pieces and large scale installations.
These creations are popular additions to residential homes, conscious business foyers, boutique hotels and healing spaces, priming individuals to access effortless calm and authenticity.

Working with raw elements, luxurious felted wool, sacred symbols and universal energy, I create elegant and interconnected ensembles that illustrate the interwoven magic of Life itself and symbolise the tapestry of creation.
As a shamanic healer with a background in conceptual interior architecture, I am committed to infusing harmony, meaning and healing into physical spaces as well as enhancing the wellbeing of every individual who comes in contact with the result of this creative process.

CAN MY BESPOKE PIECE BE CREATED AT A LIVE EVENT?
Yes, Chamonix is available to create at live events such as conferences, weddings or festivals. Depending on the size and complexity of the desired piece, Chamonix may begin work prior to the event and finalise the piece at the installation location. Special fees will apply for transportation of materials, travel and accomodation.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY BESPOKE TEXTILE ARTWORK?
Felted wool is a natural and strong material and therefore low maintenance. If cleaning is needed, a gentle scratch may prove effective, or you may use a small amount of wool wash on a damp cloth and dab the stain. Do not rub as this may cause pilling.
An occasional and gentle vacuum with a brush vacuum may be beneficial to remove the build up of dust on the artwork.
Where is the wool from?
Our wool originates from New Zealand and we take the utmost care in selecting our suppliers and wholesalers as we believe this affects the overall vibrational quality of the wool and therefore the integrity of the end product.
